According to the recent reports android 4.4.3 release is imminent and it seems that Google’s focus is going to be more on fixing bugs and some performance improvements to the underlying architecture instead of bringing forth new features. According to a new report by Android Geeks, Android 4.4.3 beta is under testing and currently has been provided only 1% of the employees by Google. Currently it is known that the update will initially be available for the Nexus 5, Nexus 7 and HTC one only and the rest of the devices might receive the update later on.
Google’s I/O conference is coming up soon as June approaches, and I think it is safe to assume that Android 4.5.0 will be revealed in the i/o conference, while the 4.4 .3 incremental update will be announced in the coming weeks with some minor improvements in areas such as ART and in the overall speed and battery performance.
As soon as official announcement is made, we will update you on the whole development.
