Jailbreak iOS 6.1.1 Untethered Your IPhone 4S Using Evasion:

Jailbreak iOS 6.1.1 iPhone 4s: Now that apple has released iOS 6.1.1 for the iPhone 4S, I’m pleased  to tell you that the evasi0n untethered jailbreak will still work for iOS 6.1.1 untethered jailbreak. The process is quite identical to the normal method of jailbreaking with evasion, except for the fact that is particular tutorial is written  for jailbreaking iOS 6.1.1 untethered iPhone 4S.

Do keep in mind that if you are using a carrier unlock solution such as ultrasnow which relies on your iPhone baseband, jailbreaking iOS 6.1.1 untethered your iPhone 4S will most definitely update your baseband and cause you to lose your Unlock.

Another thing to keep in mind is that this tutorial if for iPhone 4S only, because Apple only released iOS 6.1.1 for the iPhone 4S. Make sure that you update your iPhone 4S via iTunes and not over the air as that is known to cause problems for untethered ios 6.1.1 jailbreak. The download links for iOS 6.1.1 have been given at the bottom of this post. Use that to download the iOS 6.1.1 IPSW. Also download the latest version of Evasion.


Step 1: Run evasion and connect your iPhone 4s to it. Click the jailbreak button to start the process to jailbreak ios 6.1.1

Step 2:  Let evasion run through it’s paces as it does all the work for you. just kick back and relax. When it’s done running it’s steps it wil ask you to unlock by sliding the lockbar. When you get to the homescreen you will need to look for and tap the Jailbreak icon which evasion has created

Step 3: When you have done so, your iPhone 4s will reboot a couple of times. Just wait it out and don’t mess with it while it’s running the processes to finish jailbreak ios 6.1.1.

Step 4: Once the process is complete, you can then head to your homescreen where you will see the Cydia icon. You need to tap this icon and let cydia initialize. Once this is done you can reboot your device.
